Meet the Photographer Alex ten Napel
Exhibited, Collected and Published Worldwide
Alex ten Napel has collaborated with renowned galleries and exhibited his art at leading art fairs such as Paris Photo, Miami Photo, and Amsterdam Art. His acclaimed Water Portraits were nominated for the Photographic Portrait Prize of the National Portrait Gallery London, and the Prix BMW- Paris Photo.
Hens and Roosters received an honourable mention from DUPHO, the Dutch Photographers Association and were published in National Geographic Magazine which received a gold medal at the Society of Publication Designers’ 59th Awards in 2024.
He created several leading photography projects.
For instance Portraits of Alzheimer a serie portraits of Alzheimer’s patients displayed on the walls of the nursing home and published in a book.
Portraits of Elout a serie of portraits of children at the Elout primary school exhibited in the school’s windows.
He received coverage of his projects in national and international newspapers and magazines, and on Dutch television and radio.
