Meet the Photographer Alex ten Napel
Published, Exhibited and Collected Worldwide
Alex ten Napel created several acclaimed photographic documentaries.
Alzheimer’s patients, was displayed on the walls of the nursing home where the images were taken. Portraits of children from the Elout primary school, were exhibited in the school’s windows. Water Portraits were exhibited in the canals of Naarden. He received coverage of his projects in national and international newspapers and magazines, and on Dutch television and radio.
Concerning his photo art Alex ten Napel collaborated with renowned galleries and exhibited his art national and international at leading art fairs such as Paris Photo, Miami Photo, and Amsterdam Art. His acclaimed Water Portraits were nominated for the Photographic Portrait Prize of the National Portrait Gallery London, and Hens and Roosters received an honourable mention from DUPHO, the Dutch Photographers Association and were published in National Geographic Magazine which received a gold medal at the Society of Publication Designers’ 59th Awards in 2024.
